My Stories
HAM Operator Story
I became a HAM radio operator when I got my tech ticket back in 2006. We had a HAM radio at the hospital I was working at and my coworker had his license so I figured why not get mine. I have since progressed to getting my general ticket. I am now studying for my extra ticket. I enjoy working with the Williamson County ARES group and being a member of the Williamson County Amateur Radio Club. I was recently given a Kenwood TS-440s transceiver and am looking forward to getting on the air. Still need to buy a few things before I can do that. I hope to have a qso with you soon.
Photography Story
In 2008 I bought my first really good camera, a Nikon D90. I have always enjoyed looking at nature and how a photograph can turn a landscape into a magical and mystical place. I still have a lot to learn as I am mostly self taught with a little help and guidance from a few friends. I progressed through a couple other Nikon cameras but sold them and started using the Fuji XT mirrorless cameras. Much lighter. I hope you enjoy my pictures.
Native American Flute Story
I started playing the native american style flute in 2008 after receiving a High Spirits flute from my wife on our 25th wedding anniversary. I have since then expanded my collection a little and hope to soon have a cd out with some of my music. I will have samples here very soon.
Enjoy your time here and let me hear from...
